Enabled is produced by the Children With a Disability Team as we want to make sure that parents and carers of disabled children have a clear
understanding of the service from day one, and know where to go for information, help and advice.
Children With a Disability Team (CWDT)
The CWDT aims to help young disabled people from before birth to 18 years. It offers assessments and provides care packages to children with a disability and their families in Kirklees. 
Provider services
Kirklees can offer support for disabled children and their families through various services, from youth clubs to home adaptations. 
Other services
Emergencies, adaptations to your home, independent living, benefits advice and complaints, comments and compliments. 
Careers
If you are at school or college in Kirklees or Calderdale, you can talk to a careers adviser from Calderdale & Kirklees Careers who will be in school regularly.
