More informationThis year's International Women's Day will take place on 8 March. It is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Thousands of events are taking place, not just in the UK, but across the world. These are being planned by governments, charities, women's groups, voluntary and community organisations.
