What a public right of way is.
Claimed paths
Check if a path is a public right of way. How to apply for a route to become a public path.
Diversion or stopping up (extinguishment) of paths
Can I change or stop up the route of a path on my land.
Illegal diversions
This is where a public path has been changed or moved without legal authorisation.
Illegal motor vehicle use
It is an offence to drive a mechanically propelled vehicle on a footpath or bridleway without lawful authority.
