Getting Huddersfield to work

Getting Huddersfield to Work is Kirklees Council's bid to the Government's National Productivity Investment Fund. The bid requests money to improve the key pedestrian routes of Cross Church Street and Queensgate.

The bid will compliment recent and proposed investment from the University and Kingsgate shopping centre and will help to provide a more pedestrian-friendly area using high quality building material. This will give the area an economic uplift and will help it become a better place for all.
