Event organisers can promote their event in the what's on guide, use the directory to look for local artists to book, the news and opportunities sections can be used, for example, to put a call out for volunteers or artists for your event or drip feed announcements about your event. Items listed on the website are shared through all Creative Kirklees social media channels and could be included in our weekly CK e-newsletter to help promote your event.

  • Action Counters Terrorism - It is important that all event organisers, including events staff and volunteers, do this free online training to raise awareness around terrorist threats and what can be done to reduce the risk or prevent an attack. This short course includes an introduction to terrorism, how to identify security vulnerabilities, how to identify and respond to suspicious behaviour, how to identify and deal with a suspicious item, and more.
