If you're currently employed and looking to progress with your career, we can still offer you support. Whether you're looking to increase your hours, progress to higher wage opportunities or take the next step in your career we can help.

We'll develop an action plan with you to help you achieve your long-term career goals. We can identify required training to achieve your goals, support you with reskilling and upskilling, provide careers information and advice, assist with job searching, developing your CV and support you with job application and interview techniques.

  • Paddock Community Trust : a charity delivering support to individuals across Kirklees. They deliver a range of services with a focus on employment support.
  • Proper Job Theater Company : a theater company that supports individuals in Kirklees with everything from confidence, employability and skills while producing theater events.
  • C+K Careers : offer high quality, impartial careers and advice service to young people and adults.
  • Kirklees Wellness Service : a Kirklees Council service, helping people live healthier, happier lives and feeling more able to look after themselves. They support adults 18+ on a one-to-one basis to develop personally tailored health and wellbeing goals.

Wider employment support

  • Fusion Housing - Learning and Employment : a non-profit charity who are there to help you with housing problems as well as providing support with employment and learning.
  • Step by Step : run by the Paddock Community Trust, Step by Step gives weekly support at local community centre venues across Kirklees. They can support you in accessing financial support, improving your computer skills, helping you with job searches and much more.
  • Smart Works : provides a bespoke dressing service for unemployed women so they can attend interviews with confidence. They then receive a one-to-one coaching session for interview preparation.
  • Kirklees Employment Service - Waythrough : specialises in providing support for people living with, or recovering from, mental ill health. It helps to find paid employment, voluntary work, education and training, or to retain current employment.
