Museum in a box for schools
Our themed handling boxes help to bring history to life in your school. Containing real and replica items, each box helps embed the local story into the national narrative, supporting many topics in the National Curriculum.
It is currently free to loan one of our boxes.
Boxes can be booked for two weeks, to book please submit a booking request for a museum in a box.
They must be collected and dropped off at Tolson Museum. It is essential you do this on time to ensure other groups can collect their box. Failure to do so may result in being denied further boxes.
